THE HOME OF CAMILA

Love liberates, it does not hold back. That is ego.
‘I love you. I would like to be near you, but now it is not possible.... So, go’.
Maya Angelou

‘THE HOME OF CAMILA’ is the tale of a woman and her sweet letting go of life, love, and death. The creation explores Camila's journey towards freedom, towards a release that becomes necessary and pushes her into a plunge into the unknown. In the dive towards her own acceptance, frailties become strength and fears become courage. A eulogy to women and their race in the world.

REVIEWS

Giving ample space for personal reflection, ‘The Home of Camila’ is the story of a liberation from feelings and self-sabotaging beliefs to open the way to unknown places that allow for experience and growth. Giorgia Gasparetto impresses with the presence and confidence with which she presents this focused and challenging choreography. ’
Karina Warnel - Brygada Tanca

‘It is a story full of strong emotions, presented with delicate, soft and flowing movement, in full harmony with the music. The dancer seems to drift away and lose herself in the freedom of movement. Giorgia Gasparetto's ability to portray emotions (without unnecessary exaggeration) conveys well the inner struggle faced by the character she plays.’
