GIORGIA GASPARETTO

Giorgia Gasparetto graduated from the SEAD, Experimental Academy of Contemporary Dance in Salzburg (AUSTRIA).
In 2021 she joined the Alleyne Dance company directed by Kristina and Sadé Alleyne.
She also dances for Heike Hennig, Jan Lauwers, Paul Blackman, Simonetta Pusceddu, Pietro Marullo, Dejà Donné company, Oltrenotte company, and others, and on occasions such as Salzburger Festpiele (AUT) and Matera Capital of Culture 2019 (IT). 
At the same time, She participates in the tour of a circus theatre company. 

In 2018 she creates her first works as an author, which receives numerous awards and the support of entities such as L'OBRADOR Espai de Creació (ES), Impulstanz (AUT), TWAIN Centro Produzione Danza (IT), Tersicoreat.off Officina delle arti sceniche e performative and Oltrenotte (IT). Her solo ‘The Home of Camila’ won the Masdanza Festival (Spain), with invitations all over Europe: Zawirowania (Poland), Connecting Lab (Belgium), Lugarfuturo (Portugal), DirezioniAltre and CortoinDanza (Italy). The duo ‘Vicina Distanza’, conceived and choreographed with Priscilla Pizziol and set designer Santo Krappmann, produced by Zerogrammi, received the award for choreographic writing at the CortoinDanza Festival and won Permutazioni, a choreographic coworking organised by Casa Luft/Zerogrammi and Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo/Lavanderia a Vapore(TO). In 2023 She creates ‘Al(l)one’, a short piece realised on the occasion of Peccati di Chore for the Reverso Junior Company in Rome(IT).


In 2022 she was assistant choreographer for Alleyne Dance company in the performances ‘Singled Out’, Passerelle vzw in collaboration with C-mine (BELGIUM), ‘Home’ for the Victorian College of Arts, Melbourne (AUSTRALIA) and the students of the In2IT International dance festival in Kristiansund (NORWAY), and ‘Innocent Children’ at Tanec Bez Hranic in Prague (CZECH REPUBLIC).

 

Giorgia teaches at venues such as PERA School of Performing Arts (CYPRUS), SEAD Movementors (AUSTRIA), Obrador Espacio(SPAIN), Conservatoire Cantonal (SWITZERLAND) SPECIFIC international dance (ITALY) and many others, and has joined Sadé Alleyne at venues such as Impulstanz Festival (AUSTRIA) and Deltebre festivals (SPAIN).

Giorgia is also a Pilates and Mindfulness instructor, with studies in Anatomy-Physiology and PNEI.
